Inspired by our friends at BBC Guernsey, we set ourselves the challenge to "Swim for Pudsey!"

Charlie from BBC Guernsey came to speak to us about their challenge:

We swam 24 miles (39km) towards the BBC local radio's 1,000 mile (1,609km) total. I’m not sure we realised what we were signing up for but it was for such an important cause. I swam 400 lengths of Beau Sejour Pool.

The children at Le Rondin swam, bounced, walked, ran and woggled to raise money for a sponsored swim. It was so much fun, with every child engaged in the swim and determined to beat 400 lengths.

Impressively, we swam the equivalent of 843 lengths in our Hydro pool - 7.857km in the water!

The final amount raised was a whopping £1089.52 for Children in Need.
